Scenariio strengthens its team with two new appointments across marketing and AV integration, supporting continued growth and delivery of advanced workplace technology solutions.

Magdalena Thackeray joins as Marketing Manager, bringing more than 10 years of experience in strategic marketing and most recently leading marketing functions across SaaS and smart building technology sectors. Her appointment will support Scenariio’s continued growth and strengthen how the company communicates its expertise across smart buildings, connectivity and workplace technology.

Commenting on her new role, Magdalena said:

“It’s refreshing to see an entire team so passionate and committed to shared success. The amount of experience across Scenariio is commendable. I’m looking forward to strengthening the company’s positioning and making sure no great story or achievement goes unnoticed.

What Scenariio offers is genuinely unique. The team combines deep expertise across many areas of building technology, whether working with new developments or existing buildings and across a wide range of sectors. Looking at the current state of many offices, there is strong potential to promote technologies that are both innovative and accessible for everyday businesses. The data clearly shows the savings and improvements these solutions can deliver.”

Scenariio has also welcomed Stuart C. as Project Coordinator within the company’s Audio Visual System Integration team. Working alongside Lisa Jones and Stuart Daniels, Stuart will support the delivery of AV projects across commercial environments, helping ensure smooth coordination from planning through to delivery.

The appointment further strengthens Scenariio’s AV capabilities as demand grows for integrated workplace technology, collaboration systems and modern meeting environments.

Commenting on joining the team, Stuart said:

When I was given the opportunity to join the Scenariio AV team I jumped at the chance to have a new working role. In my previous work, which was very hands on, in the world of installing high end bespoke fitted furniture this opportunity was a world apart. But I revelled in the chance to expand my skills and join this exciting new team. Life is one big adventure and this is the next step in mine.

Together, the two appointments reinforce Scenariio’s continued investment in both technical delivery and strategic growth, supporting clients with integrated building technology solutions that improve performance, connectivity and user experience.

Scenariio, based in Siddals Road, has recruited software engineer Conor Taylor and sales manager Lee Taylor as it responds to an industry-wide increase in awareness of how smart building innovations can save companies money and cut energy use, as well as boost workers’ wellbeing.

Innovations include daylight-harvesting LED lights, movement sensors and air quality monitors, all of which can be used to send data such as room occupancy figures, CO2 levels and electricity consumption to a central hub, giving operators a snapshot of how their building is performing.

Conor’s role will be to configure and set up these data systems on behalf of clients, while Lee will be using his 30 years of sales experience to seek out new customers in a wide range of industry sectors across the UK.

George Pritchard, technical director at Scenariio, said: “We’re delighted to have brought Conor and Lee on board at Scenariio at a time when there has been a real gear change in people’s understanding of smart building technology and awareness of the benefits it has for workers and operators alike.

“That understanding has led to an increase in inquiries, meaning that we are increasingly busy serving current and new customers. Lee and Conor have had to hit the ground running and they’ve already made positive contributions to the business in what is already looking like a busy year.”

Established in 2013, Scenariio has installed IT cabling and smart building technology at premises across the UK on behalf of well-known clients including Severn Trent Water, Tarmac, Derby College and Treetops Hospice.

On June 6 it will host its second Workplace Technology Conference at Derby’s popular Chocolate Factory venue, bringing representatives from a host of leading manufacturers and installers from across the UK and elsewhere for a day of exhibitions, talks and networking.
